About Kerrie

Kerrie Leonard began her career in show business at the age of 12 with the Stage 84 School of Performing Arts in Bradford. She appeared in over 20 shows including Oliver, My Fair Lady and West Side Story at venues such as the Alhambra theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

During her time at Stage 84 she also grew to become a talented dancer and actress, skills which were developed as a student at Intake Arts College in Leeds. Kerrie's vocal training was given by Michael Hampshire and clubland legend Tony Wayne.

In 2000 Kerrie appeared on ITV's "Stars in their Eyes" as Kim Wilde which kick-started her career as a singer in venues across the UK and abroad.

In 2007 Kerrie moved to Cyprus to perform a rock show and a Pink tribute act, and was also a backing singer for Anthony Costa for boy band Blue.

In 2008 Kerrie auditioned for the part of Nancy in Oliver through the BBC1 show "I'd Do Anything" where from over 10,000 hopefuls she was amongst the final 100 contestants performing for Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh

Kerrie is now working across the UK as a professional vocalist.
